Zero-Waste Machine Learning with the Director of ELLIS Unit Warsaw

ELLIS invites you to an upcoming webinar in the AI for Good series, featuring a talk by the director of the ELLIS Unit Warsaw and ELLIS Fellow, Prof. Tomasz Trzciński, titled Zero-Waste Machine Learning. The webinar will take place on February 9, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM (CET) and will be held online.

The talk is part of the ELLIS webinar series From Molecules to Models, organized within the AI for Good Initiative. The series highlights contributions of ELLIS members to AI in the life sciences and promotes interdisciplinary dialogue across research communities.

The webinar will explore how machine learning methods can be designed with efficiency, sustainability, and responsible resource use in mind.
